OK, so Liz got me...

1. I hate to cook. I detest it. The thought of spending hours in the kitchen makes me nauseous. But I must say, I don't know how to make anything other than a darn good turkey burger and fantabulous spaghetti, so that could have something to do with the distaste.
2. There are only 2 books in my life that I haven't finished after I've started them. One was the Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad and I don't remember the other one, I have done my best to block that from my memory... so I'm not going to dredge it up out of the depths of my mind. Otherwise, I'm a bit of a book junkie.
3. I'm obsessed with all things Celtic. Music, history, culture.... you name it, I love it. I didn't chose to live in Ireland for nothing.
4. I believe in love in love at first sight.
5. I want to live near the beach.
6. My favorite song of all time is "Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd.
Geez that was rough. Unfortunately, I don't have any blog friends that haven't been tagged yet, so I guess I drop the ball here.
On a personal note.... I am still trying to find the words for the final part of my story.... I can't figure out what to say.

so, i love to cook, you hate to cook...do like to eat? if you do, we are a match made in heaven.
which ocean do you want your beach on?
Girl, you know I love to eat... I love food. Unfortunately, that makes it very difficult to lose weight!! But oh well...
As for beaches, I'm not sure. I haven't seen enough yet. Although, there is a beautiful little stretch of beach in Rush, County Dublin, Ireland that is quite lovely...
oops, Dana, I didn't really answer your question... I'm not picky about oceans. It's not for the swim factor really. I don't particularly enjoy being covered in seaweed. As long as it's beachside and I can hear the waves crashing I'll be happy.
Yeah I'm wish you...
Although I enjoy the occasional ocean swim what I really love is the smell of the salt water & the sound of the waves.
and as for me, i would just love to get a glimpse of one someday!! that's right ladies, already 29 years old, and never seen the ocean. i'm a disgrace. *sigh* well at least i'm cute. :)
Liz, that can be quickly remedied... as soon as you're better of course! Everyone should experience the feeling of lying on the beach at night just listening to the waves. That is the most peaceful thing I have ever experienced. And the thing that I don't get nearly enough of...
it'll change your life liz!
